OUTreach/ Leading For Sustainability
/Manila, 2 March 2016 — Participants from 15 countries around the world joined the third Leadership for Sustainability Course organized by the United Nations University in Tokyo from 22 February to 3 March. Led by Coach Wouter of TransformationFirst.Asia they started out by exploring what leadership is, how to lead, and how to become a sustainability leader.
Their learning was supported by exercises, and helped them to prepare a personal leadership development plan. In subsequent sessions, UNU faculty taught and offered insights and case studies from sustainability science, and helped the participants in building their negotiation skills for international events on sustainability. Some participants also took the opportunity to have an individual coaching conversation with Coach Wouter.
